The Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Expo
I had the pleasure of attending the 2nd Annual Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Expo in Asheville, NC held on the first weekend in November, and I had a wonderful time. It's really great to mingle and meet all the interesting people who do many different things that adds to the diverse make up of the fly fishing industry. One of these people who really made her mark is a lady named Reba Brinkman. After talking with Reba for a short period of time, I have learned that she spent many hours working for Hunter Banks Co. which is a well established fly shop in downtown Asheville. She has a kind demeanor about her that's not difficult to notice and it's been a real pleasure to have conversation with a lady of this caliber involved in the outdoors. As time went on I also learned that Reba is a Fly Fishing Instructor and an NSCA Certified Sporting Clays Instructor as well. She presently works for the Biltmore Estate in both these fields and I'm sure it would be a great time to have her along as a guide.
